Bob grew up in the Greater Bay Area and studied guitar at the Peninsula Conservatory of Music. He started playing professionally at 15 years of age and never looked back. Bob toured with the Coasters as well as spending time at the casinos in Las Vegas performing with the Ethix. After returning to San Francisco he fronted the Bay Area Band for many years playing at all of the major hotels, as well as playing lead guitar for the Brother Buzz Band.
Activities outside of music consist of spending time with his wife and dogs in Santa Cruz, as well as tasting and collecting wine.
Dana Waldman on keyboards (including horns) and vocals has been playing piano since he was 4 years old. Growing up in Boston, he studied at the famous Saltman Music School. His first public performance in a restaurant/lounge was at age 7 and he has been professionally active ever since. He developed a taste for jazz in high school along with composing. He has performed on keys with the likes of Woody Herman, Wynton Marsalis, Dave Grusin and Lee Ritenour. A veteran CEO of the Tech Industry, he picked up the trombone in high school as well and added rock to his repertoire.
These days he enjoys all forms of music from classic rock to funk and everything in between. When he's not rehearsing or playing around town, Dana enjoys cooking and entertaining friends and rooting for his beloved San Francisco Giants.
Pat Ward (drums & vocals) was born in San Francisco, reared on the Peninsula. He started playing piano at 5, then acoustic guitar at 12 with the St. Dunstan Church Folk Mass Group. The world of folk rock opened up before him. At 15, his percussion career began at Serra High School, San Mateo…first glockenspiel; followed by bass drum, tympani, bells, chimes, snare drum, cymbals, timp-toms; then the almighty trap kit! Pat has played in numerous rock n' roll bands in the Bay Area over the last 4 decades, including Dreamer, The Transporter Band, Top Banana, & High Above All. He owns and operates Sir Reel Recording Studio in Belmont, CA, where numerous local artists have recorded over the last 30 years, including his own “in-house” projects involving family (Daughter Sarah-clarinet, percussion, vocals) & friends. Pat enjoys classical, jazz, all forms of rock, soul, R&B, edm, and current pop music - especially watching live acts outdoors. He collects, builds, maintains, and modifies hi-fi & pro-audio recording / playback equipment. An avid 49er's fan, he enjoys good bbq and fine California wines with his family & friends.
Mike grew up in San Ramon and studied music at the University of California, Santa Cruz. He began playing music at age 8, starting on piano and eventually moving to bass. He has performed in several different groups and productions throughout the Bay Area, playing everything from Jazz to Funk to Rock and Roll. In his spare time, Mike enjoys rooting for the Giants, attending 49er games and spending time with his girlfriend Lisa and their dog Brody.
